Ben Solak, a seasoned sports analyst, weighed in on the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive woes in a recent column for Bleeding Green Nation. Solak described the unit as “unrecoverable,” citing a string of poor performances that have left the team struggling to find a rhythm. He noted that the Eagles have yet to secure a convincing win against two inferior opponents, and that injuries and a lack of a solid rushing attack have only compounded the problem.

According to Solak, the offense’s struggles began early in the season. He pointed out that the team has been “0 for 12 on third down” and has logged its fewest total yards in a game since 2014. The lack of a reliable ground game has forced quarterback Jalen Hurts to rely on a passing attack that has been inconsistent, especially against the aggressive blitzing of the Los Angeles Rams. Solak also highlighted the difficulty the Eagles have had in converting basic plays, such as a third‑and‑long, and the absence of a dependable “A.J. Brown easy button” to help the offense move the ball.

Despite the bleak outlook, Solak acknowledged that the Eagles are still in the early stages of a transition under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion. He suggested that the return of key players and a more comfortable offensive line could eventually bring some stability. However, he cautioned that the team’s identity is still in question and that progress may be slow. For now, Solak’s assessment remains that the Eagles’ offensive challenges are deep‑rooted and that a comprehensive overhaul may be necessary to turn the tide.
