In a heartwarming display of the Philadelphia Flyers’ commitment to the local community, beloved mascot Gritty made a special appearance at the Temple Ambler YMCA camp on Wednesday. The energetic creature was on hand to promote the Flyers’ Hooked on Hockey program, an initiative aimed at introducing the next generation of hockey enthusiasts to the fast-paced and physically demanding sport.
The program, which was held at the Temple Ambler YMCA camp, brought together a group of young hockey enthusiasts from around the region for a fun-filled day of on-ice instruction and off-ice activities.
