The Cleveland Guardians lost Game 2 of the American League Championship Series to the Tampa Bay Rays. The Guardians were unable to generate enough offense and their defense did not hold up. The Rays’ pitching and hitting performed well, and the Guardians’ pitching staff could not keep the Rays from scoring. The loss shifts momentum in the series, and the Guardians will need to regroup as the series continues.
