PHILADELPHIA 76ERS ANNOUNCE 2026 TRAINING CAMP DETAILS
The Philadelphia 76ers have released the official schedule for their 2026 training camp, giving fans a preview of what to expect as the team gears up for another push toward playoff contention. The camp will begin in the off‑season, with the 76ers arriving at the Philadelphia Sports Academy on a Tuesday morning and staying through the end of the week. The schedule includes a mix of team practices, conditioning sessions, and scrimmages with the organization’s two G League affiliates.
Coaches will use the camp to evaluate talent from the draft, free‑agency signings, and the 76ers’ roster of returning players. The front office emphasized that the camp will be “intense and focused,” with a particular emphasis on strengthening the team’s defensive cohesion and improving offensive flow. Players will also participate in film sessions, where coaches will analyze past performances and identify areas for improvement.
While the 76ers have not yet released a full roster list, the announcement confirmed that the team will invite a group of prospects and undrafted players to compete for a spot on the opening night roster. The organization will also hold a series of one‑on‑one workouts with key players to fine‑tune individual skills and ensure that everyone is prepared for the rigorous NBA schedule.
The 76ers’ front office highlighted that the training camp is a critical part of the team’s long‑term strategy. “We’re looking to build a foundation that will allow us to compete at the highest level,” the organization said. “Our focus is on hard work, accountability, and creating a culture of excellence.”
For fans, the camp will be a chance to see new faces and watch familiar players work to improve their game. The 76ers will host a public practice later in the week, giving supporters the opportunity to see the team in action before the season begins. With the 2026 season on the horizon, the 76ers are setting the stage for a competitive year, and the training camp is the first step in that journey.
